Site information

Please note that all WEEKEND TICKETS include on-site camping. The site opens for Weekend Ticket holders at 11.00am on the Friday morning and campers can stay on site until 1.00pm on Monday 27 July.

FIRST AID is available 24 hours a day throughout the festival (see map in the Festival Programme). Anti mosquito sprays, etc, can be bought in the Garden of Delights and the Site Shop.

FIRES are not permitted. BBQs and camping stoves are.

WATER taps can be found in and around the site are supplied with mains water.

LITTER is horrible! Please help us to be as GREEN as possible this year. There are many bins around the site separately labelled for general, paper, food, cans and glass and plastic. By using these for each type of material, we can recycle your waste effectively. Bins bags will be handed out at the site entrance. Please leave them adjacent to the hard road for collection.

SHOWER facilities are in the camping field at a cost of £2. Please use sparingly.

DOGS Please do not bring a dog (guide dogs only).

SHOP There will be a shop on the site selling tobacco, toothpaste, midge spray, loo paper, mobile phone charging and other necessities. Opening times: 9am til late each day.

HOUSE TOURS In order for the village of St Germans to benefit directly from the festival and as a thank you for all their support, Lady St Germans is opening Port Eliot House to festival goers in aid of village charities on the Sunday of the festival from 11 – 2pm.

CHILDREN’S AREA The House of Fairy Tales will be running all day, with imaginative games, workshops, performances and storytelling. Please note: this service is neither a babysitting agency nor a crèche for tots.

TAXIS To get you to and from the site if you’re staying in the area, find local taxi firm numbers posted in the Site Office, in the Bar and on the blackboards by the Bowling Green.

THE GARDEN OF DELIGHTS is a place to find relief from stress, get rested and be pampered. In separate tents in this beautiful garden you will find traditional Thai massage, Indian head massage, Ayurvedic yoga massage, and a special combination of reflexology, Kerelite foot massage, aromatherapy, and Thai massage. Make reservations at the individual tents – or book in advance here.

SWIMMING POOL Sorry – this is strictly off limits during the festival thanks to the Nanny State.

WHEN YOU GO Please be sensitive to the residents of the village when you leave and remember to Leave No Trace.

If you have any other questions, please email info@porteliotfestival.com or call the festival office on 01503 230211.
