Would you like to star alongside Arthur Smith and others?

Craig Taylor, whose One Million Tiny Plays About Britain in the Guardian Weekend magazine have gained a cult following, is hatching some great plans for Port Eliot this year. He’s going to be putting on One Million Tiny Plays About Port Eliot, in a big group performance acted by the likes of Arthur Smith, Hari Kunzru, Joe Dunthorne, Henry Hemming and a number of other performers appearing at this year’s festival – and is offering a few lucky punters the chance to take to the stage with them too.

If you’d like to try your luck at acting out one of Craig’s hilarious plays, he’ll be holding mini-auditions on the Saturday afternoon (please note the actual performance won’t be until Sunday, so this is only feasible for weekend ticket holders). Full details of how to sign up will be available in the festival’s official programme when you arrive on site – but you may want to start brushing up your acting skills in anticipation!
