Wild swim and yoga

Bookings are now open for Denise Christian’s Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga sessions on Saturday morning.

One of the more dynamic forms of yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa purifies the system through heat generated by the breath and continual movement. Denise is from Antigua in the Caribbean and her practice and teaching is imbued with that island vibe, finding the sweetness in every practice… She’ll be running sessions for both beginners and more experienced practitioners – email here to book for her Saturday sessions (09:00 and 16:00), or reserve a place on Sunday (same times) via the Production Office (as above).

Kate Rew, author of Wild Swim, will be leading 30-40 minute swims in the River Lynher along with fellow members of the Outdoor Swimming Society, followed by a relaxing soak in her wood-fired hot tub on the river banks. The Saturday morning swim is now fully booked, but you can book a place on the Sunday swim (meet at the Boathouse at 10:00) via the Production Office (in the Walled Garden) during the festival.

Kate will also be doing a book signing at noon on Saturday at the festival bookshop in the Walled Garden.
