Wurlitza

Wurlitza are a five-piece band from St. Germans. With four singer-songwriters from a wide background of pop, punk, jazz, classical, folk and ska, their music defies classification – indie with a gypsy twist would be close, but still not hitting the nail on the head.

With a recent play on BBC 6 Music, the band are going from strength to strength. To quote from a recent review, their set incorporates “a wonderful combination of originals and an eclectic selection of covers performed with confidence and verve. The sound is unique – it swings, it stomps, it soars and it is surreal.”

Wurlitza will also be performing an amazing live soundtrack along to a classic 1920s silent film. This fantastic spectacle has been a big hit at previous Port Eliot Festivals.
